“What
we wanted above all was a simple, uncluttered framework within which we could play at being gardeners over the years
to come. What we got was something quite beautiful in its own right, exceeding all expectations. Throughout the entire process,
from initial design ideas to the final touches, there was never any doubt that the integrity of the end product was of
paramount importance.” Marc and Karine, Muswell Hill

"I was pleased and impressed with
the design John came up with for my garden. He took time to get to know me and listened carefully to what I wanted,
then came up with an imaginative design that reflected the brief and made the most of the space. I was particularly
pleased with his problem solving ideas for hiding an ugly neighbouring wall and making a pretty walkway in an unusually shaped
side passage. The garden has now been transformed from a concrete wasteland to a charming courtyard garden -
I
thoroughly recommend John and his garden design skills, I would never have achieved such a beautiful garden on my own and
feel his service was very good value for money." Harriet, N15
“The garden looks lovely, just like the 'Secret Garden'! I am looking forward
to spending time in it, and will get plenty of pleasure from pottering about! Many thanks again.....I would certainly be happy
to pass your name on if anyone asks about who designed and planted our garden.” Gemma, N11
The Design Process
A successful garden not only has to look delightful, it has to
work in terms of how you want to use it - for eating out in, for the kids to play in, perhaps a veg plot, secluded seating,
or for stunning plant display.
From the first consultation we ensure that the eventual garden design meets all your requirements
from the aesthetic to the practical whether you are looking for traditional garden design, contemporary garden design or something
off-beat.
Each
hand drawn design is unique to you the client, your house and surroundings.
Garden Design follows several stages:
the initial visit, the Client Brief, the Site Survey and Analysis, the Garden Design, and finally the Planting Plan. Construction
of the garden involves the Hard Landscaping followed by the installation of the Planting.
Throughout each stage
we ensure close consultation giving you dedicated supervision from initial concept to the last plant planted. For
the landscaping works we provide a dedicated on-site manager.
Should you wish to use your
own landscapers Appletree can project manage the landscaping and planting.
